April 10th, 2010 : Today was a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders in the DLF – IPL Season 3. This was the 43rd match of the league. The match was played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. IPL Bangalore won the toss and field first.
Kolkata Knight Riders openers Saurav Ganguly and Chris Gayle gave a good start to the team. Ganguly made 33 runs in 32 balls and Gayle scored 34 in 15 balls. McCullum was top scorer of the match, he scored 45 runs in 36 balls. Middle order and tail ender batsmen of the team were not able to face IPL Kolkata bowlers today and departed at regular intervals. Kolkata team managed to get a total of 160 runs for loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
